My husband and I rented the property for a 6 day vacation. We loved the property! The skylights and loads of windows helped to make the bungalow feel light and spacious. The furniture was in good condition and the entire bungalow was spotless. I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so cleanliness is at the top of the list…this property did not disappoint.
Outdoor space was generous, consisting of a modest sized, two-tiered deck that butts up to the sidewalk, so if you’re into people watching, this is your spot! The lower deck is furnished with a sectional sofa and tables and chairs.
The kitchen was well equipped with updated Kenmore appliances and LG W/D…all looking and functioning like new! For a small place, it had plenty of storage. The owners added thoughtful storage options, such as coat hooks, drying racks, and shelving in the closet.
Décor: cozy, comfy, mix of contemporary and mid-century modern furnishings.
Communication with the property management team was seamless. The Team responded to my inquiries in little time and they where super helpful.
The bungalow is the first of two shotgun style properties, both accessible from narrow walkway on side of the properties. Because of this, you will have foot traffic running on both side of the bungalow.
You’ll want to bring your own beach accessories. Other than beach towels, this property didn’t not come with any.
Only issues we encountered was the parking. The propery comes with a designated parking spot, for which we were incredibly grateful to have. However, be for warned that the parking spot is one of three side-by-side parking spaces and it is not suitable for a full and some mid-size cars. Maneuvering in/out of the parking spot will be tricky! Street parking is at a premium, so don’t count on it!
Location is great! Only short drive to all the local sights and a short block from the beach. OB, though, is a mixed bag of tired unkept and well loved and cared for properties. OB neighborhood is walkable, with plenty of nearby restaurants (highly recommend Port Pizza!), coffee shops, bars, and shops nearby. If you’re looking for fancy, high end eats and shops, you’ll want to look elsewhere. The OB vibe is very laid back and eclectic.

The location was phenomenal. Any wear and tear on the unit is to be expected with the salt water for any place right on ocean. We really enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and the private little beach/rock area below. The only frustration was that although it had an amazing view, the windows were so dirty that we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We emailed customer service but never received a response. I understand that the windows likely get dirty pretty quickly but it would have been nice to have a long handled squeegee or windex available.

The view of the Pacific Ocean is stunning. The house is exactly as advertised with nice kitchen, comfortable beds and new patio furniture. Also, convenient to OB restaurants and shops and short walk to Sunset Cliffs.
