I loved the fact that the house had beach stuff, was a quick walk to the beach, updated appliances, and ping pong table.

Size, new bathrooms, plenty of things to do, beach stuff chairs toys, bring your own umbrella it isn’t cheap but well worth the price. 4th street is certainly passable for beach food too . Location on the beach is perfect and was never crowded I’d go back for sure

We just spent a month here and had a wonderful stay. I am already thinking about booking again next year! The Great: 1. The condo is very roomy! The kitchen looks small in pictures but is well laid out and very efficient. The living room couch and chairs are comfy (you can easily pull in extra chairs from the bedrooms for more seating). The bedrooms were all a good size and there was plenty of space for a large group to spread out between the balcony, living rooms, dining room & bedrooms. 2. The internet is great - I was able to work remotely, have zoom calls, and stream on multiple TVs and phones at the same time. 3. There is garage parking, and a ton of beach chairs, gazebos, toys, and beach towels to use. 4. The bathrooms were all super nice, good size, and remodeled. Great water pressure, and plenty of towels. 5. The price can’t be beat for an oceanfront 4 bedroom recently remodeled condo! 6. The beach is very residential on this side of cocoa beach, and the popular public access points are multiple blocks away - so the beach feels super private and is pretty empty. 7. Walking distance to get groceries, coffee, go out for dinner or just to get drinks to a lot of different places - I love not worrying about driving on vacation. Would be nice to have (especially since the minimum stay is long at 2 weeks): 1. The neighbor across the hall really does not like renters and makes it known. Luckily didn’t interact with him much, but he’s just unpleasant - everyone else was super nice though! 2. I wish the bedrooms had dressers instead of tiny tv stands so you can put your clothes away instead of having to hang everything. 3. Mattresses weren’t the most comfortable. 4. Not enough plates or silverware, so you’re basically doing dishes after every meal. I ended up buying silverware at Walmart because I couldn’t handle it. 5. A decent mop, or mop-vac combo. The dyson vacuum picks up a lot, but some sand stays behind so a mop would have been great. 6. There is a gate and lock on the private beach access - but there is only one key, which is super annoying if half the group wants to join later. I wish they just had a keypad lock like most other condos do. 7. More dining room seating would be amazing - not sure if they can do a a bench against the wall to be able to fit a larger table or something. Currently just 4 fit around the table - although there is counter seating. Long story short - if in doubt, just book it! We loved our stay and can’t wait to stay again!

Where is Cocoa Beach, FL?

Located just 65 miles east of Orlando (home to both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios), Cocoa Beach is situated right off the coast between the Banana River to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Easily accessed via the West Cocoa Beach Causeway (Hwy 520) or Scenic A1A, Cocoa Beach is conveniently close to the mainland and just 24 miles away from the Kennedy Space Center.

Things to do in Cocoa Beach

For many, Cocoa Beach was made famous as the setting of the 1960s sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie. Today, visitors to this fair city quickly discover the many opportunities for their own fun adventures, all within a short drive or even a walk from the front door of their vacation home.

Spend some time on the terrific beaches around the area including those accessed through Sidney Fischer Park, Lori Wilson Park, and Robert P. Murkshe Memorial Park. Alan Shepard Park, named after astronaut Alan Shepard and located right at the end of Hwy 520, is a five-acre, ocean-front park with picnic, shower, and restroom facilities. Rocket launches are visible from this park, so check the Kennedy Space Center launch calendar, pack a lunch, and have a literal blast at the beach.

Another unmissable Cocoa Beach highlight is the historic Cocoa Beach Pier, formerly known as the Cape Canaveral Pier, built in 1962. Extending 800 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, the pier is home to restaurants and gift shops. Eager anglers will want to rent some gear and drop a line or two off the pier for red fish, whiting, snapper, wahoo, flounder, and more.

Golfers will be thrilled with the challenge of the three nine-hole courses of the Cocoa Beach Country Club, a city-run facility open to the public located on a peninsula surrounded by the Banana River Lagoon. This facility also houses a tennis complex featuring two lighted clay courts and 10 hard courts. Lessons are available as well as a pro shop for all your apparel and equipment needs.

Downtown also offers a number of options for family-friendly fun including a miniature golf course, escape rooms, and the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum and East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame. There are also a number of restaurants, unique shops, and spas for relaxing afternoons close to your vacation rental.

Just 25 miles west, pack a lunch, your camera, and your fishing gear and plan a visit to the River Lakes Conservation Area for hiking, picnicking, camping, and canoeing. Birdwatchers will want to look for a number of native species including wood storks, bald eagles, and Florida sandhill cranes. Be sure to keep your eyes on the water for playful river otters and several varieties of fish.

For the ultimate family day trips, both Universal Orlando (home of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter) and Walt Disney World are only 65 miles away.
