Over the summer, there are also many annual events like the old fashioned 4th of July Parade, the Kite Festival in May, and Art Fair in August and from this Rockaway beach cottage, you'll be right near all the festivities.

Rockaway Beach is also an easy drive to other North Oregon Coast destinations like Cannon Beach (35 minutes), Manzanita (20 minutes), and Tillamook (25 minutes). Of course, you may choose to keep your car parked and spend all of your time right in Rockaway Beach, walking along the shore to Twin Rocks, and flying kites.
