Just 15 miles south of Bend, Sunriver has something for everyone! In winter, you're only a short 20 minute drive from Mt. Bachelor or you can just hop on the shuttle at the Sunriver Lodge (for a nominal fee) and not have to worry about driving in the snow or parking.
Inside, a large living area is outfitted with comfortable leather couches, slanted wood-beamed ceilings, a beautiful wood-burning stove, and a great entertainment center. Sit back and watch a DVD on the flat screen cable TV, turn on some Netflix streaming, or get on the WiFi. There are board games for an after-dinner tournament around the coffee table and plenty of space for everyone to find a spot for some quiet reading.
The outdoor deck has seating for all, so if it's a nice evening, you may even want to bring a mug of hot cocoa or a glass of after-dinner port outside. On summer evenings, fire up the gas grill for a burger feast or follow the pathway around to the private hot tub for a late evening soak. On clear nights, you can even do a little stargazing.
Back inside, you'll find the gourmet-inspired kitchen is a dream for meal preparation. With slate tile floors, the stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops, the chef in your group will have fun whipping up breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. And don't forget a bowl of popcorn to go with movie night! There's even a dishwasher to make clean-up a snap. Meals can be eaten in the sunny dining room or out on the deck.
The upstairs loft has a second TV, as well as one of the futons - perfect for some afternoon reading or as a quiet space to check your email.
This lovely Sunriver getaway has four bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other three each with a queen. All have comfortable bedding, large windows looking out at the trees, and accessories like bedside tables and reading lamps. In addition, there are two futons for extra sleeping spots and two and a half bathrooms. This home will comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, and if you need to do a load of laundry, you'll find a washer and dryer in the laundry room.
After dinner, you can head out to the garage for some foosball. There are also two adult bikes for exploring the 35 miles of paved bike paths. And if you need kids' bikes, just stop by the Bike Barn and rent whatever you need (including helmets, locks, and even a bike map).
Great for families and adventure-seekers alike, you'll be able to enjoy golf (there are four courses), biking, hiking, and more all against the backdrop of the majestic Cascade Mountain Range. The Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center (SHARC) is home to outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, a lazy river, and water slides - and when you stay at this vacation home, you'll have passes to enjoy all of it. There are also sleigh rides right at Sunriver, as well as tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
