How to get a referral payment

Referring a homeowner is the start of something great: a bonus for you, less stress for them, and a new home for our portfolio. Refer a homeowner to Vacasa for property management services and you’ll receive a referral payment of up to $2,000* approximately 30 days after their rental goes live on Vacasa.com.

If you're a Real Estate Agent or professional that works with homeowners, you're in the right place. But you can also earn a referral bonus as a current Vacasa homeowner or guest.

Yes, homeowners are eligible to receive a referral fee and referrals can be submitted on the homeowner referral page. However, eligibility for compensation depends on what state the referred home is located in.

While we welcome referrals of homes in any area, this offer is not available for referrals of homes located in AL, AZ, AR, CT, DE, DC, HI, IA, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, PA, PR, RI, SC, SD, TN, VA, WV, WI, WY or any other location or circumstance where a real estate license is required to provide property management for the referred home.

*Referred properties with 0–1 bedrooms are eligible for a $500 referral payment, $1,000 for 2 bedrooms, $1,500 for 3–4 bedrooms, and those with 5 or more bedrooms are eligible for a $2,000 referral payment. For properties in Hawaii, the referral amount is a flat $1,500 regardless of the number of bedrooms.

These compensations are only available to net new homes for Vacasa. All “change of ownership” homes will be paid out at a flat rate of $1,000 for full-service management.

All referred properties that sign up for Guestworks will be compensated a flat rate of $500 once the property is live for booking on Guestworks.com, provided however that “change of ownership” homes that sign up for Guestworks are not eligible for a referral payment
