Established in 1896 and listed on the National Register of Historical Places, The Everett is one of Eagle River's most beloved and storied vacation rental resorts. Accessible by both land and water, the resort has recently undergone extensive renovation with special care taken to maintain its historic integrity while providing guests with modern comfort and convenience. Nestled among six acres, complete with 350 sq. ft. of lakefront shoreline, the resort's village-style layout and uniquely vintage appeal make it a popular venue for weddings, corporate events, and other special gatherings for groups of all sizes. Amenities include a private sand beach, five private piers with boat slips, a covered outdoor grill area, fire pits, hammocks, and a vintage boathouse that sits directly upon the water of Catfish Lake. Catfish Lake is the largest fully recreational lake on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. The Everett is just minutes from downtown Eagle River. Eagle River is home to the National Pond Hockey Tournament each February and is known as the Snowmobile Capital of the World. Snowmobile trails can be found just steps from The Everett resort property.

A gorgeous granite stone fireplace is a popular venue for guests to gather and watch stunning sunsets over the lake. A new addition as of 2019, a 1600 sq. ft. outdoor terrace is also available for private events.

The resort is also home to the iconic Marina Bar. Once a popular hangout for Al Capone and other notorious gangsters who traveled the area, the Marina Bar's vintage-style screen porch is a must-see for spectacular sunsets over the lake.

Once a stopover for Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi during their 'Blues Brothers Tour', this three-season cabin boasts over 2000 sq. ft. of thoughtfully furnished living space overlooking Catfish Lake. Indulge in sweeping, double-decker views from the exposed log deck. Perfect for groups, the cabin is divided into two separate living spaces on each floor, both equipped with standalone home essentials. Originally built in 1920, the home seamlessly combines historic design with 21st-century amenity convenience.

The 1296 sq. ft. lower level features a well-equipped, apartment-sized kitchen complete with a refrigerator/freezer, electric stove & oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffeemaker, crock-pot, cookware, dinnerware, glassware, silverware, cutlery, and utensils. The family room offers a large TV, plenty of comfortable seating, and a ceiling fan. Window air-conditioning with a space heater available is equipped for year-round comfort. Satellite TV service and WiFi are also available.

The 796 sq. ft. upper level includes a mid-size kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffeemaker, crock-pot, cookware, dinnerware, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils. A large TV and comfortable seating are available in the family room.
