Village of South Walton - Rosemary Beach rentals

The restaurants are all close . Love that. Kid friendly. Loved the owner! She is super sweet and checked in on us . Loved our time here . One of the best hotels . Very spacious too

Stayed at this condo with 2 other girlfriends for a girls trip. There were 2 other girls that backed out so it was only 3 of us which was good, we all got our own room. Problem was we argued over who got the very nice primary bedroom (I won out). But the condo is very nice, very clean, and literally 5 minute easy walk to Rosemary restaurants and shops. It was nice that on the lower level of the building there are souvenir shops, little grocery store if you forgot something, ice cream shop, pizza, couple of restaurants. bike rentals are right in front of the property. We planned on rented one day but never did. In the evening there was some live music you could sit outside and listen too while having a beer or wine. Also there is a golfcart that comes around to pick you up and take you to the beach (Sunset beach access only). It will pick you up at E8 right by the pool. The condo did not provide any beach towels or beach chairs & umbrellas. You can rent 2 chairs and 1 umbrellas on the beach for $90. if you want a front row you need to call ahead of time to reserve them. We just walked down past the navy blue umbrellas until we got to the green ones. Same price but didn't have all the crowds around us and we got front row. The beach was amazing. White soft sand and clear water (has a tint of green, hence the Emerald Coast nickname). we even saw some stingrays one day. You can walk from Sunset Beach to any of the other beaches but you do not get beach "access" from the road. As far as food goes all the places we ate at were really good. We loved Lola's Pizza and Pasta. We had pasta dishes which were so good. the Ceaser Salad was great and the calamari was spot on. its right below the condo. We also at at LaCo which is tex mex. All of us being from Texas thought this was so-so for tex mex food. I think most other people will like it. Highly recommend Gallions. Food was the best! pricey but well worth it. I would skip Havana at The Pearl hotel for dinner. we were not impressed. But do check out their roof top bar. Very nice and they had live music when we went. There was a line to get into La Crema so I assume it was good. On the beach you will find Crabby Steves. We brought a small cooler with our own food and drinks so we didnt go but it is in walking distance from all the beach chair set ups. We did see people walking back with frozen cocktails that look yummy. Bottom line this is a great place for a quiet beach vacation. the area is so cute and charming, food was so good, the condo was in a great location and clean and updated look. People that worked in these communities were so friend and nice. We will be back soon for sure!

The apartment was just right for a couple of days of enjoying the beach. The room is larger than a hotel room and the price was fantastic. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. TV & WiFi worked very well. The refrigerator and microwave made snacking in the room easy, but there are so many places to eat downstairs! Everything is convenient. The shuttle to the beach made it easy to get out on the sand. After spending the day on the water, the shuttle dropped us right in front of our building. Suggestion--if you bring a lot of devices that need to plug in by the bed, bring a power strip. (We have a LOT of devices, so we always travel with one.) Checking out was a breeze! No long list of housekeeping tasks at all! We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!
